Terms of Use
These terms cover the PatrolNav Speed Limits website and related services at speed.patrolnav.com (the “Service”), operated by PatrolNav. By signing in or submitting data, you agree to them.
What the Service is
The Service lets signed-in users suggest posted speed limits for roads on the map, and lets moderators review those suggestions for use in PatrolNav. It is a contribution and review tool — not a guarantee of legal speed limits while driving.
Accounts
You need a PatrolNav account (email/password, Google, or Apple). You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share credentials or try to bypass authentication, rate limits, or moderation controls.
Acceptable use
- Submit only speed limits you believe are correct for the selected road.
- Do not spam, scrape data beyond normal app use, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, or knowingly false data.
Your suggestions
By submitting a suggestion you grant PatrolNav a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, store, modify, publish, and distribute that suggestion (and anything derived from it) in PatrolNav products and related services. See also the Contribution & licensing page.
No warranty / navigation safety
The Service and any data it provides are offered “as is.” Speed limits may be wrong, pending review, disputed, or outdated. Always obey posted signs and local law. PatrolNav is not liable for decisions made from this data.
Suspension
We may refuse, remove, or reverse contributions and may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or these terms.
