This policy describes what PatrolNav collects when you use the Speed Limits website and related services, and why.
Account data
Sign-in is handled through PatrolNav’s account system. We receive your account id and, when provided by your sign-in method, your email. We do not store your password on this Service.
Contribution data
- Speed suggestions you submit (which road, the value, when you submitted, and any optional note)
- Your account id on each suggestion
- A salted hash of your IP address and a browser identifier, used for abuse prevention and audit
Moderators and admins can see suggestion history needed to review data. Approved values (and who approved them) may be included when PatrolNav uses this data in its products.
Technical logs
Our hosting and network providers may log request metadata (such as time, path, and status) for reliability and security. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies / browser storage
Session tokens are stored in your browser so you stay signed in. You can clear them by signing out or clearing site data.
Retention
Suggestions and review history are kept to operate the Service and keep an accountable record of contributions. You may contact us to request account-related deletion; some audit records may be retained where needed for security or integrity.
